Alpine Reclaimed Beam Dining Table
A hero-scale straight-board top in reclaimed Messmate, carried on a sculptural timber portal base two vertical panels joined by a lower stretcher, with an elongated oval cut-out that turns the base into as much sculpture as support. The boards are laid in a harmonised tonal rhythm, and the portal is built from pale reclaimed stock that contrasts gently with the deeper tones of the top. The most architecturally-driven piece in the Messmate range.
